Chilson's Garage

Got my 2006 Saab 93 checked up last week. Found that I had sway bar links loose and some brake maintenance needed. Charlie and his team got my car in and out quickly and for a great price. They offer BG Oil! While I was there I also had my fuel system and induction system cleaned. This place is the only place I trust to work on my European Cars.

Brought our daughters PT Cruiser to them since no one else seems to know how to work on them. Did a great job and the price was fair

Trustworthy and proficient. We trust our vehicles to Charlie and know that he will recommend the least expensive way to fix something, or advise on work to do in the future. We've never been disappointed with his work

I had a noisy bearing on my serpentine belt tensioner on my 2007 Toyota Corolla. I took the car to a Toyota dealer in Crystal River. They quoted me $436 to replace the tensioner unit. I declined and asked my neighbor who he would recommend for auto service and he replied "CHILSON'S". I researched parts prices online and ordered the parts delivered to my home at a cost of $95(tensioner & new belt). I took the car to Chilson's for installation and a 4 wheel alignment as well and the bill was $155.00. No surprises and no problems and the car is still running flawless 7 years later. Thanks Charlie & co.

About two years ago, my wife's fairly new luxury car received a recall notice. I took the car to the dealer to make the repairs concerning the recall. The shop foreman called and informed me the recall was taken care of but their were some other items that needed to be repaired. He then proceeded to reel off approximately $3000. worth of maintenance repairs that were necessary to keep the vehicle running. I said no and picked the vehicle up. I proceeded directly to Chilson's and had him check out the vehicle. He said I could use an oil change and lube job. I told him to go ahead and the bill was less than one hundred dollars.

We have had no problems since with this vehicle. He now services both my vehicles. I wish he also worked on motorcycles!

Charlie is amazing,

We bought a 09 Acadia from Buick Eagle in Homosassa last year in 2017.With a $2000 warrenty that doesn't seem to cover anything. We've had more problems with it then we should have. Anyway, my AC goes out during the hottest part of the year, August.. Took my car to the dealership, and of course the part that's broke wasn't covered. They wanted to charge us $1,140. Well, we had Charlie work on my Ford last year and he did a fantastic job. So we decided to see what he would charge us to fix it.

Made an appointment to drop my car off, charlie gives me a ride back to my house so I don't have to wait there. I get the call that the part thats broken, isn't the part the dealership said it was. And it would cost us only $613.00 to fix it.

What I like about Charles is he goes over everything, making sure he knows exactly what the problem is. And Will let you know how much before he starts working on your vehicle.

We Will always take our vehicle to him.

Thank you Chilsons Garage!

I was experiencing some stuttering at idle with my 2006 Saab 93 2.0T. Took it down to Charlie's and for an hours labor everything is running fine now! It just needed a tune up!

Always a trustworthy and honest place to visit. They treat you with respect and tell you what is truly needed for your car. Hands down one of the best places for reliable honest repair work and they don't treat women like they don't know anything about cars! Very important and appreciated! Thank you!

Just moved to the area and was worried about finding a great shop for my Audi A6. Based on their web site, which indicated a lot of expertise with Audi and other foreign brands I took my car there. I thought they were outstanding! Very friendly, knowledgeable people, and I feel 100% comfortable trusting them with my Audi going forward. I would not hesitate to recommend Chilson's Garage!

The most honest automotive repair shop. If you want it done right and not get ripped off, take it to Charlie. We have been going to his repair shop since 1989. So have our relatives.

Chilson's has taken care of our automotive problems for almost 13 years. They are friendly, honest, and best of all competent. They figure out the problem even after other shops have tried over and over and can't get it right. I'm so fortunate to be able to just drop off the car and know that it's going to be fixed the first time. The rates are reasonable. I'm constantly reminded that you get what you pay for. So many times cheaper means not done right. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area.
